📚 Scholar (the "Smart" class) is a Tier 1 starter built around Awareness — it notices distractors and resists their pull longer than any other class. Great awareness, but lower speed.

Ability — HighAwareness (passive)

Scholar's maxed Awareness (60) widens your escape window. In the capture formula, a distractor with average charisma (40) needs about 10.5 seconds of unbroken line-of-sight to capture Scholar, versus ~8 for Plain — plenty of time to notice and break away.

Class Mastery: Level 2 slows a distractor's capture build-up (×0.80); Level 3 also makes your progress fade 50% faster once you break line-of-sight.

How to unlock

Playstyle

Play Scholar as the team's scout and task-runner. You get the earliest warning when a distractor commits, so you can push into risky rooms to grab items. Pair with a rescuer like Anchor who pulls teammates out fast while you keep delivering.
